From the New York Public Library comes this fun tool for creating animated “Wiggle” gif images from historic stereogram images, an old photographic technique to view through special glasses a pair of images taken to be slightly off center for an old time 3D effect.

Visit the Stereogranimator, search for images, pick a pair, an experiment with the placement tool to get the best “wiggle” Tweet a link to your creation!
